Cadillac Records is a 2008 biographical drama film about the record label Chess Records, founded by Leonard Chess in Chicago in 1952. The film follows the label’s rise to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s, and features performances by some of the biggest names in blues, soul, and R&B music, including Muddy Waters, Etta James, Chuck Berry, and Little Walter.
The film opens in 1947, when Leonard Chess (Adrien Brody) is a Polish immigrant who owns a nightclub in Chicago. He discovers Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright), a blues guitarist, and signs him to his record label. Austin Powers is cryogenically frozen in 1969 and wakes up in 1975 to find that his nemesis, Dr. Evil, has teamed up with his father, Goldmember, a disco-loving villain with a golden penis. Goldmember has kidnapped Austin’s father, Basil Exposition, and plans to use a rare element to melt the ice caps and flood the world.
Austin teams up with his old friend, Vanessa Kensington, and travels back in time to 1973 to stop Goldmember. They are joined by Dr. Evil, who has had a change of heart and wants to help save the world.
The group tracks Goldmember to his lair, where they find him preparing to launch his plan. They manage to stop Goldmember, but Dr. Evil escapes.
In the end, Austin and Vanessa save the world and Dr. Evil is captured. The film ends with Austin and Dr. Evil shaking hands and agreeing to work together again in the future.
Austin Powers in Goldmember didn’t really get a lot of positive reviews, but it was still one of the unique movies Beyoncé acted in. She also earned an MTV Movie Award nomination.
3. The Lion King

The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical drama film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 32nd Disney animated feature film, and the fifth animated film produced during a period known as the Disney Renaissance.
The film tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands. However, Simba’s paternal uncle, Scar, murders Mufasa and frames Simba for the crime. Simba flees into exile, where he is manipulated by Scar into believing he was responsible for Mufasa’s death.
Eventually, Simba returns to the Pride Lands and reclaims his rightful place as King. He learns the importance of responsibility and courage, and he helps to restore the Pride Lands to its former glory.
The movie was a huge success and Beyoncé’s voice was perfect for the film, to the extent that the director Jon Favreau was hesitant that she would voice the role and also record music for the soundtrack. The Lion King album she released was inspired by the film.

4. Dreamgirls
Dreamgirls is a movie about Diana Ross and the Supremes and one of the best Beyoncé movies. Beyoncé acted the role of Deena, the lead singer of the group who later became successful and married a powerful record producer.
Dreamgirls is a 2006 American musical drama film based on the 1981 Broadway musical of the same name. The film centers on the story of three young black women who form a singing group in Detroit, Michigan, in the early 1960s. The group, known as The Dreamettes, eventually achieves success, but their journey is not without its challenges.
