If Tom Hardy as Wolverine were to happen in an X-Men movie, what would he look like? Well, a deep fake video has been able to show us Hardy in the Jackman-portrayed role.
On Youtube, Stryker HD created a visual aid in the form of a deep fake that digitally inserted Hardy’s face over that of Hugh Jackman’s in the X-Men franchise.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming up with a new reboot of the X-men, and fans can’t help but wonder who will be the next Logan. However, seeing Hardy from the Fox movies play the role of the new Logan in Tom Hardy as Wolverine deep fake video has really impressed a lot of fans.

Tom Hardy as Wolverine has been a particular favorite of fans when it comes to potential casting choices for the upcoming X-Men movie.
Tom Hardy is a dynamic actor who has earned critical acclaim for his performances in many films, from dramatic roles like The Revenant and Inception and incredible action films like Mad Max: Fury Road and Venom. He has shown he is capable of playing characters with intensity, physicality, and emotional depth, which are essential traits for the successful role of Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman himself had personally endorsed The Venom star after seeing big potential in Hardy to excel in the role many years ago.
In an MTV interview in 2015, Jackman mentioned that he wanted Hardy to be his successor.
“I’m often asked the question many times and I feel like, ‘I don’t want to be replaced easily by the studio,” Jackman said at the time, prior to the release of his final movie in the role, Logan. “I’ve still got at least one to do. I’m sure they’re talking about it already, about some actor out there and they are like, ‘Shhhh… keep it quiet, though we want you next.’ He’s definitely younger than me, so I think Tom Hardy would be great.”

Who Will Be the Next Logan?
There has been no release date by Marvel for the next live-action Wolverine. No X-Men movies are being produced currently, but Kevin Feige has made it clear that Marvel is already making plans to introduce the group into the MCU sooner or later.
The character will be first established by appearing in a Disney+ series or Marvel movie before they can become the main characters in any X-men franchise movie. In the meantime, there will be no official casting of the characters.
The fans will have to be occupied in the debate over who would be the next Logan of the X-men franchise. Hardy is just one of many potential prospects to be the new look. Other popular candidates with fans include Antony Starr, Pablo Schreiber, Karl Urban, and Daniel Radcliffe.
Captain America actor Chris Evans has even been nominated by Joe and Anthony Russo (AvengersEndgame directors), despite his major role in the MCU.
According to Joe Russo, Evans has incredible range, great physicality, and very good body control. “He’s an incredible actor. Not in a bad way, but he’s nothing like Captain America. Steve Rogers is very quiet, and understated. Chris is more funny, energetic, and charismatic, and can bring a lot of energy to the set. I’d love to see him in the Wolverine role.”
When will the X-Men debut in the MCU?
All the same, Marvel fans just have to wait and anticipate Wolverine coming back on the big screen.
There are also a number of potential titles in which we could see the X-Men debut in the future. However, it’s obvious there won’t be any teases of their arrival throughout Phase Five.
We’ve also seen many references that have given us a view into what the team of X-men superheroes will be like. This includes Patrick Stewart’s Professor X appearance in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness) and a potential Wolverine sighting in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.
