Blue Lock is a sports anime that follows the story of Isagi Yoichi, a high school striker who is invited to participate in a special training program called Blue Lock.

The Blue Lock Titular Program 

The Blue Lock Titular Program is designed to find the best striker in Japan by pitting 300 of the country’s best young strikers against each other. 

It is divided into three stages: the Rebirth Selection, the Determination Selection, and the Ultimate Selection.

The Rebirth Selection is designed to test the strikers’ individual skills. The strikers are put through a series of one-on-one matches, and the bottom 70 strikers are eliminated.

In the Determination Selection, the strikers’ teamwork is tested. The strikers are divided into teams and compete in a series of group matches. The bottom 30 strikers are eliminated.

Lastly, the Ultimate Selection is the final stage of the program. The remaining 100 strikers compete in a series of matches to determine the Blue Lock Ace.

In episode 1, we see the beginning of the Rebirth Selection. The strikers participate in a series of one-on-one matches, and Isagi Yoichi, the protagonist of the series, manages to defeat several of the more experienced strikers. However, he is eventually defeated by Bachira Meguru, a young striker with incredible dribbling skills.

After the Rebirth Selection, the remaining 130 strikers are divided into 30 teams of 4. The teams compete in a series of group matches, and the bottom 30 strikers are eliminated. Isagi is placed on Team Z, which is one of the weakest teams in the competition. However, he is able to lead his team to victory by using his intelligence and teamwork skills.

The Determination Selection is still ongoing, and you will have no idea who will ultimately be eliminated. But, it is clear that the Blue Lock titular program is a very challenging and competitive environment. Only the strongest and most determined strikers will be able to survive.

The Titular Program is overseen by Ego Jinpachi, a former Japanese national team striker who believes that the worst egotists make the best strikers. He believes that in order to be the best, a striker must be willing to do whatever it takes to win, even if it means stepping on others.
