Metal Lords creation

Metal Lords is written by D.B. Weiss, and he was also a co-creator in the massive hit Game of Thrones with David Benioff. After his Emmy-winning success with Game of Thrones, Weiss decided to write a small coming-of-age movie about metal music, and his passion for the movie was pretty obvious itself.

Weiss’ narrative focuses on what metal in the film is all about , and to an extent, it was right — because some members of the most iconic rock bands funny enough appeared in the film. This includes Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Judas Priest singer Rob Halford, singer Tom Morello, and the Rage Machine guitarist who also produced the film.

Metal lords had some great soundtrack and various visuals reference Slayer, Black Sabbath, Mastodon, Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Guns N’ Roses, so Metal Lords explores the essentials and focuses on the world in which it dwells.
