Star Wars Visions

Star Wars Visions was released in 2021 by Disney+ and is one of the most unique entries into the Star Wars universe.

It’s an anthology series of anime shorts set in the Star Wars universe.

Though Season one had some great episodes, it was still criticized for its  lack of character and emotional depth and development in the episodes. This is understandable, because each episode was only just 15 minutes long.

In Season two, this will all change completely as the focus will now be on a broader social commentary to more similar, character emotional and internal obstacles.

The first season was released in 2021 was a big success. The second season, which was released on May 28, 2023, is just as good, if not better.

The nine shorts in the second season are all animated by different studios from around the world, and each one has its own unique style. The characters too, are all memorable and likable. You might even find yourself rooting for them all throughout the season.

With an amazing score, it perfectly complements the animation and the stories. Infact, I can tell you it really helps to bring the Star Wars universe to life in a new way.

Star Wars Visions Season 2
