Transformers Rise of the Beasts
Released by Paramount Pictures in theaters on June 9, 2023, Transformers Rise of the Beasts is the seventh installment of the Franchise and has been a hit with viewers. The film takes place in the 1990s and greatly references the ’90s Transformers toyline Beast Wars.
Two new factions to the mythos were introduced. One is the heroic Maximals, who are committed to preserving the world from tyranny and have the unique ability to shapeshift into known animals. On the other hand, there are also the villain Predacons; violent dragons, and beast-like Cybertrons.
Another villainous posse featured in Rise of the Beasts is the Terrorcons, Transformers who work for Unicron and are even more powerful than the Decepticons.
